I wrote a Twitter thread on the fact that the meme with the nerd in the school yard, who becomes rich, is much bigger in Spanish than in English. The thread explains the language/translation context, names the Facebook group where the meme grew big, fully translates one notable meme, and translates and comments on a second notable meme before showing a manga someone wrote about the Nerd, divided into chunks of images #1–4, #5–8, #9–10 and #11.
